primary acitivity

so because we are one day ahead, our general conference weekend will be a week later, but this past weekend, we had a general conference primary activity, which was really fun!! we had a great turn out, 20 out of our 26 primary kids. I had some dads set up ahead of time, tents. so we started out in the tents, talking about King Benjamin preaching in the Book of Mormon, and the people pitched their tents towards the temple. and how that was like their general conference. the kids loved playing in the tents.

then we rotated through 4 stations. follow the prophet musical chairs. go emily!
apostle matching game to learn their names and faces.

President Monson bingo game--all about his life

and last, they decorated conference activity bags, then went down an assembly line and stuffed it full of things they will be able to use/do while watching conference next week. conference packets, notebooks, crayons, etc. and kudos to Jennifer, who was in charge of this station and has access to the army base for bringing American snacks. goldfish, rice krispy treats and cheez-its are just a few of the things my lucky kids will be eating while watching conference. I had to hide the bags because they kept trying to get the treats.
then we had pizza. they also earned apostle trading cards at each station they visited.

and thanks to Cindi Sonntag for taking all the pics! I especially loved this one of Emily. all you primary moms, there were a ton of cute pictures of all your kids. I will be making a poster to display at church.
