our neighborhood

A while ago, my sister in law asked for pictures of our neighborhood and I realized that although I've taken a lot of pictures for my photo album, I didn't post any of them.

This is our apartment, we are on the middle floor. The streets you see on either side of us are the typical two lane streets here. If a car comes in the opposite direction, one of you has to pull over and let the other car pass.





This is my local shopping street just up the hill from our apartment. My drycleaners, drug store, a fruit stand, Lawson's and a great bagel shop are on this street. The grocery store is a few streets away.




Down this alley is the most amazing doughnut shop, in a little house just off to the right. My neighbor first introduced us to this store. We are finding that sometimes the best places are the tiny little shops down an alley that you find out about from word of mouth.

We couldn't live without Dominos! These little scooters are everywhere.
