Aoyama Cemetery

Cherry Blossom season is just barely beginning! Friday, my friend Ginny and I took our kids for a picnic in Aoyama Cemetery. I know, a cemetery is a weird place for a picnic, but it's famous for its cherry blossoms! They are just starting to bloom. In another week they will be gorgeous. And since it wasn't very crowded, (maybe because it was a weekday and the blossoms aren't in full bloom yet?) our kids had a great time playing/climbing all over. Here are some pics.
Roppongi Hills in the background.

I love to cut through this cemetery road on the way home from church every cherry blossom season. It feels like a ceiling of pink.
fun on the train ride home.
