All foreigners have their own tactics on how to get pictures of Japanese people. We use Jacob's cuteness shamelessly. This foreigner dressed up like a star wars guy. hilarious.
and then the funniest thing happened. A lady with a camera asked a kimono girl if she could take her picture next to Jacob, who was sleeping in his stroller.
within 20 seconds, swarms of cameras were pointed at Jacob and the girl. Ryan and I were laughing so hard. It was amazing that he slept through the entire thing.

What great pictures. I'll have to remember to head out to where they give the speech next year. I was hoping to see tons of kimonos like that on New Year's Day at the shrine; I saw 1. Also, it's nice to know we're not the only ones using our children as bait to get the pictures we want!!
