school's almost over!
Is it just me or are we the last ones out for summer vacation? Our last day is Thursday. Today was Trent's kindergarten portfolio sharing/end of the year party. The 2 classes put on a 20 minutes presentation of songs/poems for the parents. Half in Japanese and half in English. It was so cute! Then Trent got to show me his portfolio--all his hard work over the past year. It was amazing to compare September's drawings/handwriting to now. So much progress. Then we had a hot dog BBQ out on the playground. Trent loved showing me all the special things in his classroom. He has done so well this year in kindergarten. It's been a big adjustment to all day kindergarten plus the bus. We are so proud of him!

I can't believe that it will be Lily this next year. Isn't it crazy how quickly they grow up?
Congrats Trent! You're a first grader now...how does it feel? You guys aren't the last ones out. We aren't out until next Thursday.
Trent looks so grown-up in those pictures. I'm glad he did so well in kindergarten. Congratulations Trent!
