and what have we been up to this past week? major flooding and plumbing issues! This is what my front yard looks like. The roots from our giant tree (you can see the branches top left) have broken through and blocked off our plumbing pipes. Hope to have it fixed soon. poor workers, worked all day in the rain today.

Those worms are amazing. I'm going straight to the kitchen right now to make them. How do you find these things. Also, sorry about the plumbing situation. Do you still have running water? There's nothing worse- than not being able to flush the toilet or take a shower. Obviously I was not meant to be a pioneer. Good luck
I noticed those worms online - they look so fun! Are they hard to get out of the straw? And what a bummer about your pipes!!
You have to tell me how you got yours out of the straws cause I tried this once and it was a disaster. The kids ended up sucking the jello out themselves. It was so messy!
running the straws in hot water or letting them sit at room temp. for a little while helped. but my fingers were really tired! because you had to push hard and slow. it was time consuming.
