We also drove down the road a little ways to a hot springs. hot water was coming out of the side of the mountain, and people had used rocks to block it off and make little hot springs.

We also celebrated Jake's 4th birthday at Redfish! a pinata, cake, presents and lots of jet skiing and a fun day at the lake. Jake really didn't understand the concept of a pinata. when the first, single piece of candy fell out, he stopped, unwrapped it, ate it, then went back to hitting the pinata. it was driving Emily and Trent crazy.

So glad you're back safe and sound. I can't believe we were both home around the same time with our families. Also loving that Kiwi-Loco! Looks like you had a blast. The jet skiing brings back soooo many fun and wondeful memories. It's one of my favorite things to do with my family now. Tell your dad, thanks for introducing it to me. How much fun! I wanted so badly to take the kids in the mountains and camp, but we had to cut a week off our trip to get Lily ready for school starting Aug 4th.
