sushi

People might think we eat sushi all the time because we live in Japan. Not true...and not just because I hate sushi. Ryan eats it 2-3 times a month when he occasionally goes out for lunch at work and sometimes he will bring some home from the grocery store for Emily to try. I recently came across a restaurant review for a family restaurant that caters to both sushi lovers (Ryan and Emily) and non sushi lovers (me and Trent). Perfect for our family. So we were off to Totoyamichi's. It was a conveyer belt sushi restaurant, where the food goes around and around and if you see something you like, you grab it. In addition to sushi, they had fried chicken, fruit and french fries! We all left full and happy, and the sushi lovers were certainly satisfied.
The kids' favorite part was selecting their food and pulling it from the conveyor.

Just as we were almost done eating, this chef came out of the kitchen with this gigantic fish! He walked around the entire restaurant, for everyone to have a look, before it became sushi. All the kids were crowding around him.
