Our first snow day

Sunday morning we woke up to another day of snow that actually covered the ground instead of immediately melting, and believe it or not, church was canceled. I know all our friends and relatives in snowy places like Utah, Idaho, and especially my brother in Minnesota must be laughing at the thought of canceling something because of a little snow, butTokyo cannot function with snow! People just aren't used to it here. The trains slow down, the mini cars slide on the ice, you get the picture. and if you look at the picture below, it wasn't even that much snow, just enough to cover the ground! So we had a relaxing day at home and fun playing in the snow. Unfortunately for the kids, by the next day it had started to melt and they did have to go to school.
