I have a sneaky little boy named Trent! Yesterday, he lost a tooth at school and decided not to tell me about it. It was in the back, so I didn't notice. He decided to do a test to see if the tooth fairy is real, by putting it under his pillow without telling mom or dad that he had lost a tooth. And guess what happened?? yup! the tooth fairy didn't come and he figured it out. we had to talk about it this morning. He's a pretty smart kid.

After Easter Captain noticed some of my transactions sitting in my inbox and figured that one out. Finally, this last week the rest of the pieces of the puzzle fell into place as we had to come clean on leprechauns and Santa. Not sure what he thinks about the tooth fairy, yet... I do feel kind of sad that the magical part of childhood is over, but it will be so nice to have a kid more on the grown up level now!
