We have had the best spring break! The weather has been wonderful all week, so we spent as much time as we could outside. Our neighbor Mika and her two kids, Tyler and Emma took us to Children’s Land down in Yokohama, a city 30 minutes south of Tokyo. Besides Disneyland, this is the best place we’ve been to! A huge park with playgrounds, a ranch with a working dairy, petting zoo, alpine slide and more. The kids loved seeing the cows getting milked, and then eating ice cream from the dairy.

Riding the bus home. It was a long day!

This is a little local park with an actual tree house. Just as I wondering to myself, “Why are all the parks in Japan so old and dangerous?” Emily ran up to me and said, “Why are Japan parks so much more fun than United States parks?”

Bike riding at Yoyogi Park. The cherry blossoms are so beautiful!

So much fun! My friend who lives in Okinawa loves the parks also - she has some cool pictures of these amazing slides. They are almost like a rollercoaster.
